But only in the right spot. And according to Bryant, that spot is the only team he has ever played for, the Dallas Cowboys.

“Of course, that’s home,” Bryant said in a Wednesday?interview with Dallas'?FOX 4. “That’s home. And potentially being able to play with Dak (Prescott), Zeke (Elliott), Amari Cooper, Randall Cobb, Michael Gallup, those guys, (Blake) Jarwin – I think that would be great.

From NFL plays to college sports scores, all the top sports news you need to know every day.

"I understand that’s their team, but I feel like they have the right pieces to go to the Super Bowl, and I feel like I can help be a part of that, if possible. But every night, I’m just working, grinding, trying to get on that field either way.”

Getting on the field either way, Bryant insisted,?doesn’t mean he would consider suiting up for the rebooted XFL franchise that had its first week of regular-season games last weekend.

“Nah, not at all,” Bryant said when asked whether he’d consider the XFL. “I know I can still play. That’s not an issue for me. I have high confidence in myself. No disrespect to the XFL, I just know I can play in (the NFL), that’s not a question.”

Bryant, 31, played eight seasons in the NFL from 2010-17, all of them with the Cowboys. He recorded 531 receptions over that span for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns. In November 2018, Bryant signed with the New Orleans Saints on a one-year deal but?tore his Achilles in his first practice with the team.

Bryant missed the entire 2019 season as he recuperated but maintained that he was always interested in returning to the NFL.

“I’m feeling good,” Bryant told FOX 4. “I’m just grinding, just working. I’m just trying to get back to it. I love it. My vibe is right. I want to get back on that field and make some plays. I miss scoring touchdowns.”

The Cowboys could potentially be interested in a reunion with Bryant, as the team could be undergoing some significant changes. Receiver Amari Cooper, the team’s top target, is set to become an unrestricted free agent in March, as will Randall Cobb. That’s not to mention that quarterback Dak Prescott is also set to become a free agent.

The Cowboys went 8-8 last season and missed?the playoffs. They replaced head coach?Jason Garrett with former Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy?in January.
